The largest annual Jet Ski Tour in the country – organized by Angel Pilot – will be held this year on the 26th of June, in Rio Guadiana.

The Guadiana River forms a natural border between Portugal and Spain and the theme of this year’s tour is “The Smugglers’ Route”, which recalls the smuggling activities that used to take place across the river banks of the Guadiana from the 13thC.

The Tour will depart from Vila Real de Santo António and will go up to Mértola in the Alentejo region. The participants will have a fantastically unique opportunity to discover the eastern Algarve, Spain and the Alentejo, as well as being able to observe the beautiful local nature and have lots of fun.

All the drivers will also have the chance to test-drive a Yamaha VX Cruiser, powered by the all-new TR-1 engine: more powerful, smaller and lighter, for better performance.

Last but not least, lunch will be held in Alcoutim, a pretty village with lovely views across to Spain: the village also has an extensive historical heritage with many archaeological remains of the Roman occupation still visible.
